FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS PASTA SANTINA GLUTEN-FREE?

No. Currently all Pasta Santina varieties contain wheat.

WHAT IS THE NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION FOR YOUR PASTA?

You can find the nutritional information for each pasta by selecting a pasta and viewing the nutritional information panel image.

WHAT IS THE SHELF-LIFE OF PASTA SANTINA?

Preferably 2 year from the date of production to preserve the nutrition and structure of the pasta. Find the "Preferably By" date printed on the bottom section in the back of the packaging. Dried pasta is best stored in a cool dry place.

DO YOU HAVE ANY COOKING TIPS?

Start with a large pot of salted water - Usually 1oz of Sea Salt for 3qt. of water. Do not add oil to the cooking water, it doesn't prevent pasta from sticking together. Wait to drop the pasta until your water comes to a full rapid boil.

Start tasting the pasta about a minute before the shortest cook time on the box. The pasta should be "al dente" - tender but still slightly firm to the bite. Drain the pasta in a colander, do not rinse. Toss with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
