Hello pasta aficionado!

I am starting this blog to keep you updated on Pasta Santina's journey. First, I would like to thank you for visiting our website and the interest shown about us!

In a few words, we are trying to launch the first pasta brand in Santa Barbara and the Central Coast, California! We have registered our company in the state of California in May, detailed our business plan progression for the next 6, 12, 24 months, and now we are excited to share that we have purchased our first pasta machine! Something to start production, getting familiar and give me the opportunity to meet you around the County!

Our goal is to start visiting your closest markets in Santa Barbara County by July 2024. To begin with, it will be fresh pasta and later, as we add more equipment to our production, will be offering shelf-stable pasta and perhaps, it would be available in your favorite and nearest grocery store, but that's a long journey!

Will be honest with you, I have been working in the hospitality industry for the past 19 years and in my mind I always thought that eventually I would open my own restaurant, but that is somehow a limitation! Californians do love to eat outside, but what I realized, they also like to cook at home given the incredible produce they have available, Santa Barbara is the perfect example, 6 markets per week, in 6 different locations!

Pasta Santina allows my imagination to explore new ideas and personal approaches to my hospitality commitment and to the territory. Pasta Santina would love to contribute to your home cooking moments, be there as a vector to your taste buds with the wonderful ingredients our local farmers have harvested for us. How exciting! I will do my best to provide you with quick tips and matching recipes every time we meet at the farmer's market.
